First Year: Law: The Irish legal system and Legal skills; Contract Law ; Tort Law. Political science: Introduction to political science, Introduction to economic policy, and Introduction to sociology.
Second Year: Law: Criminal law, Constitutional law; Land law.
Political Science: History of political thought; Comparative politics; International relations.
Third and Fourth Years: Students choose from a wide range of elective modules in Law and Political Science. In the fourth year, students may choose to study exclusively Law or Political Science
Entry Requirements
Students must present six subjects of which two must be at grade C or above at Advanced GCE (A-Level. Others must be at least at grade C or above on GCSE or Advanced Subsidiary GCE (AS) papers. The six subjects above must include:English, Mathematics and a language other than English.
